Gillian Wossick

Gillian Wossick is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability, currently serving as the Environmental Sustainability Manager at West Lancashire Borough Council since August 2022. Prior to this role, Gillian worked as Programme Coordinator for the North West Net Zero Hub, managing COP26 activities and climate declarations. Gillian's experience also includes serving as an Environmental Officer for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, where responsibilities encompassed designing climate initiatives and stakeholder engagement for the Net Zero Pathway. With a background in performance reporting at both the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and Merseytravel, as well as previous positions in environmental advisory and nature conservation, Gillian has developed a robust skill set in corporate environmental management and sustainability practices. Gillian holds a degree in Applied Environmental Resource Science from The University of Salford.
