Ian Jones

Ian Jones is an experienced Programme Manager currently working at West Midlands Combined Authority since January 2025. Previously, Ian held the role of Programme Manager at Energy Systems Catapult, managing the project portfolio for the HOMES platform from January 2019 to January 2025. With a strong background at E.ON, Ian served as Senior Project Manager focusing on LED lighting solutions and held various technical consulting roles, including product development and supplier management. Ian's career began at Goodrich Actuation Systems as a Manufacturing Engineer, where skills in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies were developed. Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Wolverhampton, completed between 2003 and 2006.
