Charles Capito

Charles Capito has extensive experience in financial services and governance. Currently, Capito serves as a Member of the Board of Governors at West Virginia University since February 2019 and as a Member of the Board of Trustees at CAMC since January 2012. Prior roles include Managing Director and Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors from March 2011 to October 2020, and Executive Vice President and Director of Business Development at United Bank from October 2009 to April 2011. Capito's career at Citi Smith Barney spanned over three decades, during which time Capito held various leadership positions, including Director and First Vice President. Capito holds a BA in American History from Hampden-Sydney College, earned in 1976.
