Joe Dery

Joe Dery serves as Vice President and Dean of Data Analytics, Computer Science, and Software Engineering at Western Governors University since August 2022, overseeing over 16,000 students and leading a team of 300 faculty members while spearheading a WGU-wide Decision Intelligence transformation project. Prior to this role, Joe Dery had a successful tenure at Dell Technologies from November 2011 to July 2022, where responsibilities included leading digital solutions in supply chain operations, managing global decision sciences teams, and driving analytics-based transformation initiatives. Joe Dery has also served as an adjunct assistant professor at Bentley University and holds a PhD in Business Analytics from Bentley University, alongside an MS in Marketing Analytics and a BS in Business Management from Babson College.
