Pete Frye

Pete Frye is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and advanced program management. Currently serving as the Space Applications Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company since October 2023, Pete previously held the position of Deputy Director - Advanced Programs at Astrobotic from July 2019 to October 2023. Prior roles include Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aviation, Mechanical Engineering Manager at 4moms, and Research and Development Engineer at LB Foster. Earlier in the career, Pete worked as Structural Analysis / Structural Design Lead Engineer at Boeing and as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at OPEX Corporation. Pete began the engineering journey as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Allen-Sherman-Hoff. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, completed in 2010.
