Karlene Sargent

Karlene Sargent is an experienced Change Director currently leading the CORE transformation program at Westpac, enhancing risk management across the organization. With a strong background in change management, Sargent previously served as Change Lead for the General Insurance Regulatory Programme at Westpac and played a crucial role in the Financial Crime Programme at Commonwealth Bank, addressing compliance and risk management issues. Prior experience includes Change Lead positions at AMP and Shell, where Sargent contributed to significant remediation and cost-saving initiatives. Sargent holds an MBA with a specialization in marketing and change management from Southern Cross University, a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Newcastle, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in International Relations and Literature from the same institution.
