Kat Lipata

Kat Lipata is an experienced quality and manufacturing technology manager with over 20 years in the paper and packaging industry. Currently serving as Quality Manager at WestRock Company since October 2018, Kat leads the Charleston Mill’s Quality Management System and has successfully implemented ISO 9001:2015. Prior to this role, Kat held positions such as Continuous Improvement Lead and Manufacturing Technology Manager at WestRock. Previously, Kat gained valuable experience at KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation and MeadWestvaco, focusing on process optimization and technical training. Kat holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from The Citadel.
