Sydney Jaxtheimer

Sydney Jaxtheimer currently serves as the Morning News Anchor at WFXR, starting in August 2024, where responsibilities include anchoring the WFXR Good Day Virginia program and WFXR at Noon, in addition to working on special projects. Prior to this role, Sydney worked as a Multimedia Journalist at WSLS 10 from June 2021 to August 2024 and at WJAC-TV from June 2019 to June 2021. Additional experience includes serving as an Editorial Assistant at the James Madison University Department of Graduate Psychology, a Reporter for Breeze TV, a Front Desk Assistant at Lowenthal Outerwear Boutique, a Promotions Intern at WAVY-TV 10, and a Videographer for Breeze TV. Sydney holds a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Design - Journalism from James Madison University, awarded in 2019.
