Laura Johnson

Laura Johnson has a distinguished career in environmental conservation and legal expertise. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at WGBH since May 2013, Laura also chaired the Board of the Land Trust Alliance from February 2011 to February 2021. With a role as Director of the International Land Conservation Network, Laura was a Visiting Fellow at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy from 2014 to June 2018. Previous experience includes serving on the Board of Century Capital Management Trust and being the President of Mass Audubon, where initiatives benefitted over 100,000 members. Notably, Laura held various leadership positions at The Nature Conservancy from 1982 to 1998 and began their career as an associate at Palmer & Dodge LLP after obtaining a JD from New York University School of Law. Laura holds a BA in History from Harvard University.
