Tim Barron, CCP, SPHR, currently serves as a Senior Compensation Analyst at WGL since August 2020. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Inova Health System from December 2007 to August 2020, where Tim held roles including Director of Compensation, responsible for the strategic development and execution of compensation programs for a system housing over 18,000 employees, and also served as a Sr. Compensation Consultant and Compensation Consultant. Earlier, Tim worked at Washington Hospital Center from October 2000 to November 2007 in various capacities, culminating as Compensation Analyst, where expertise in compensation management was provided to a 6,000 employee hospital. Tim began career as a Wage Specialist with the United States Department of Defense, where responsibilities included conducting wage surveys. Tim obtained a degree from Virginia Tech between 1995 and 1999.
