Mallory Schnell

Mallory Schnell is a dedicated meteorologist with extensive experience in weather reporting. Currently employed at WHAS-TV since November 2024, Schnell previously served as a meteorologist at KOLD News 13 from April 2022 to October 2024, at WOWT NBC Omaha from June 2018 to December 2021, and at WTVM News Leader 9 from June 2016 to June 2018. Educationally, Schnell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Western Kentucky University, where participation included roles as a teacher's assistant, student contributor, and blog moderator, in addition to being a news and weather intern at WAVE 3 News. Further studies included a semester at Harlaxton College in 2013.
