Cheryl Spang

Cheryl Spang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and program leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of the Project Management Office at Whelen Engineering, Cheryl focuses on enhancing project management practices to drive product innovation and growth, emphasizing a commitment to "Made in America." Previously, Cheryl held senior project management roles at John Hancock Investments, where responsibilities included leading the migration of applications to Microsoft Azure Cloud, and at Liberty Mutual, overseeing IT applications within commercial insurance underwriting. Additional experience includes managing IT projects for the State of Maine's Department of Health and Human Services and directing client services at DeskNet Inc. Cheryl's career at Unum spanned two decades, culminating in leadership positions in business systems and knowledge management. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science and an Associate's degree from Bentley University.
