Vivian U

Vivian U is a Research Scientist at the University of California, Irvine since July 2020. Prior to this role, Vivian U served as a UC Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow and Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Riverside from July 2015 to July 2020 and August 2012 to November 2014, respectively. Vivian U also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from August 2006 to July 2012, and was a Predoctoral Fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics from August 2009 to July 2011. Vivian U earned a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from Caltech in 2006 and completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2012.
