Eugene Francis Olivar

Eugene Francis Olivar, EIT, currently serves as a Verification Specialist and Energy Specialist at Willdan since August 2021. Prior experience includes working as an Energy Storage Researcher at the UC San Diego Center for Energy Research, where Eugene conducted duty cycles for lithium-ion batteries, analyzed various electrical parameters using Matlab, and contributed to quarterly ARPA-E reports. Previous roles at UC San Diego included Front Desk Assistant at the Sixth College Academic Office, Orientation Leader for incoming students, and Student/Staff/Faculty Coordinator for the Kaibigang Pilipin@ Student Teaching Academic Retention program. Eugene began a career in customer service as a Food Service Worker at UC San Diego's dining hall and interned with the Student Sustainability Collective. Eugene obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, completing the program in 2020.
