Rachel Finan

Rachel Finan is an experienced ecological professional with a strong background in ecology and conservation. Currently serving as an Ecological Advisor and Ecological Clerk of Works at Wills Bros Ltd since October 2021, Rachel previously operated as a Freelance Ecologist with Rachel Finan Ecology from April 2016 to January 2022. Rachel's extensive experience includes roles such as Senior Consultant Ecologist at Amec Foster Wheeler, Consultant Ecologist at AMEC Environment & Infrastructure UK Limited, and Assistant Ecologist at Jacobs Babtie. Early career experience includes serving as an Assistant Nature Conservation Advisor with the National Trust for Scotland. Rachel has a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from Edinburgh Napier University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Zoology from the University of Galway. Rachel has been involved in diverse projects including large-scale Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and various ecological reports.
