Dilru Amarasekera

Dilru Amarasekera is a Glaucoma Specialist at Wills Eye Hospital since July 2019, where previous roles included Glaucoma Fellow, Ophthalmology Resident, and Chief Resident. Prior experience includes serving as a Resident Physician at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System from June 2018 to June 2019, and as a Vision and Neuroscience Research Assistant at Penn State University from August 2013 to May 2014. Dilru Amarasekera holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Thomas Jefferson University (2014-2018) and a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University as part of a 6-year BS/MD Program (2012-2014), following education at Downingtown High School East Campus (2008-2012).
