Gwen Seeley-Joosse

Gwen Seeley currently serves as the Education Strategy Manager at Wilton Brands, a position held since June 2023. Previously, from December 2015 to June 2023, Gwen held the role of Director of Statewide Student Initiatives at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA), focusing on strategic planning, program development, and expanding innovative STEM enrichment programs. Key achievements include enhancing program design processes, improving student registration and financial aid systems, and significantly increasing curriculum resources and enrollment among underrepresented populations. Prior to IMSA, Gwen worked at Learning Ally as National Director of School and Student Success from July 2013 to June 2015, successfully implementing $4.5 million in educational programs nationwide, and as Project Director from 2007 to 2012, where notable achievements included an increase in program utilization among member schools. Gwen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master’s Degree in Communications, both from Northwestern University.
