Tim Ehgotz

Tim Ehgotz, M.A., serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Bates Philanthropic Initiative since March 2024, advocating for accessible world-class education. Tim has extensive experience as a docent and tour guide at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum since January 2013, engaging visitors with educational insights about aviation and space. Previously, Tim contributed to the City of Aurora as a Commissioner for the Civil Service Commission from February 2014 to February 2020, ensuring the fair examination and certification of candidates for Fire and Police departments. Tim's educational career spans over three decades at Pickens Technical College in various roles, including Professional Educator and Dean of Students, focusing on curriculum development and student support. Tim began a professional path in the U.S. Navy from 1973 to 1977 as a dental technician and corpsman, laying a foundation for a career dedicated to education and community service. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado and a Principal Licensure Certificate from the University of Denver.
