Katie Graves

Katie Graves is a grant writer at WSW Winning Strategies Washington since September 2024. Previously, Katie served as the Coordinator of Advocacy Support Services for the National Association of Elementary School Principals from July 2022 to September 2024, where responsibilities included monitoring federal K-12 legislation, building bipartisan relationships, and managing national advocacy conferences. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at American University and a Policy and Research Intern at Opportunity Consulting, focusing on K-12 education and other policy areas. Katie began their career as an elementary school teacher at the American School of Belo Horizonte and School At St. George Place Elementary. Katie holds a Master of Education in Education Policy and Leadership from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University.
