Elizabeth Rogers, a seasoned expert in data privacy and cybersecurity, currently serves as a Partner at Winstead PC while chairing the Privacy Law Section of the Austin Bar Association. With a rich history of leadership roles, including Chief Privacy Officer and General Counsel, Elizabeth has a comprehensive background in regulatory compliance and privacy matters across various industries, including retail, healthcare, and finance. Elizabeth also contributes to the State Bar of Texas as a member of the AI Task Force and is a Fellow at the Texas Bar Foundation. In academia, Elizabeth is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, where expertise in information security and privacy is imparted to graduate students. Education includes a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Texas at El Paso.
