Jonathan Bartz

Jonathan Bartz has extensive experience in economic development, holding the position of Regional Economic Development Director at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation since January 2014, where responsibilities include creating and supporting a high-performance economic development network across multiple counties. Previously, Jonathan served as Regional Account Manager for various counties and worked at Martenson & Eisele, Inc. as President, leading an employee-owned planning and engineering firm. Additional roles include Business Operations Manager at Clifton Gunderson LLP, Vice President at Thompson Consulting Ltd., President of the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation, Principal Planner for the City of Appleton, and Economic Development Planner at East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. Jonathan holds an MS in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
