Mark Kronfeld

Mark Kronfeld is currently a Senior Advisor at Wiserfunding. Prior to that, they were a Managing Director at BlackRock and the Global Head of Restructuring. Mark also focused on special situations and distressed investments as well as private credit, rescue financing, leveraged finance and complex credit opportunities and managed the special situations strategy within the U.S. Private Credit Group. Mark served on BlackRock’s Global Credit Oversight Committee and was responsible for overseeing, leading and managing workout and restructuring efforts across the global credit platform. Mark also led internal credit and distressed training at BlackRock. Mark joined BlackRock as part of its 2018 acquisition of Tennenbaum Capital Partners (TCP). Mark was a managing director at TCP, which they joined in 2016. Before that, they were a Partner/Portfolio Manager at Plymouth Lane Capital Management, LLC from 2015 to 2016, and a Managing Director at BlueMountain Capital Management from 2013 to 2015.

Mark Kronfeld received their MBA in finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Mark then went on to earn their J.D. from Boston University School of Law. Mark completed their undergraduate studies at University at Albany, SUNY, where they majored in English literature and philosophy.
