Jorien Mendez is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in water treatment and management. Since September 2012, Jorien has served as the Water Treatment Civil Engineering Team Lead at Witteveen+Bos, where responsibilities include leading the civil drinking water team and consulting on various water-related projects through all stages from definition to implementation. Prior experience includes roles as an engineering consultant focusing on drinking water supply, wastewater, drainage, and irrigation, as well as significant involvement in the Young Expert Programme Water in Ghana from May 2015 to May 2017. Jorien's foundational experience includes a graduation project for Rijkswaterstaat studying the Dam at Borgharen and an internship at Witteveen+Bos where 3D modeling of water treatment plants was conducted. Jorien holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
