Ellie Kobak

Ellie Kobak is an Associate Support Engineer at Wiz since December 2024, previously serving as a Software Engineering Intern at CyVers and as a Software Engineering Data Scientist at the High Performance Computing Laboratory from April 2022 to March 2024. At the High Performance Computing Laboratory, Ellie conducted extensive testing and debugging with Python, authored user manuals, and created a tutorial for the TAU Commander HPC job scheduler. As Vice President of Technology at Oregon Blockchain, Ellie focused on recruiting computer science students and developing educational programs on blockchain technology. Ellie also gained experience as a Software Development Intern at Viewpoint, where security vulnerabilities were addressed, and as President of UO Women in Computer Science, where leadership efforts included securing funding and organizing events for women in technology. Ellie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Sports Business from the University of Oregon and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Lincoln High School.
