Gahl Saraf

Gahl Saraf is an experienced engineer currently working at Wiz since December 2023. Previously, Gahl co-founded Raftt, serving as Co-Founder, Board Director, and CTO from January 2021 to September 2024. Gahl's prior experience includes a significant tenure at Facebook from October 2013 to September 2020 as a Software Engineer for Facebook Lite, where Gahl built and led the App health team, focusing on Android performance optimizations. Gahl also developed a widely-used Android application and created a patented on-device network traffic manipulation solution at Onavo, where Gahl worked as a Software Engineer. Earlier, Gahl held roles at Onavo as a Researcher and led a research team at the Israel Defense Forces, with a foundational background as a Software and Algorithm Developer at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Gahl holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, earned between 2009 and 2019.
