Gal Benmocha

Gal Benmocha is an accomplished professional in the field of computer science with a robust background in software engineering and cybersecurity. Gal began a current role as a Threat Researcher at Wiz in August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Lead and Software Engineer at Apiiro from May 2021 to August 2024, and as a Development Team Lead and Security Researcher in the Israel Defense Forces from August 2016 to April 2021. Gal's career initiated at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer from August 2013 to September 2015. Gal holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, earned from 2017 to September 2021, and also completed undergraduate studies at the same institution from 2011 to 2015.
