Gulnara Bixby

Gulnara Bixby is an experienced localization specialist currently working at Wizards of the Coast since March 2023. Previously, Gulnara held roles at Lionbridge as a Localization Quality Manager and Global Language Lead from August 2019 to March 2023. Gulnara also served as a Localization Specialist at Bungie, contributing to titles such as Destiny 2 and its expansions from April 2017 to April 2019. Additional experience includes a position as a Localization Tester at 2K, where Gulnara worked on titles like Battleborn and XCOM-2, and a role as Deputy Head of the International Department at the Academy of Management "TISBI." Gulnara began in localization as a QA Manager at EF Education First, focusing on the Ana Tele project. Educational qualifications include a Specialist degree in Linguistics from Kazan State University, with a focus on English and Korean languages and literature.
