Hector Fierros

Hector Fierros is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development and firmware management. Currently working at Wizeline since December 2019, Hector specializes in Java, Typescript, and C++. Previously, Hector contributed to TOSHIBA Global Commerce Solutions, focusing on OS component development and maintenance of Toshiba's 4690 Operating System. At Intel Corporation, Hector led a team delivering UEFI BIOS for its server platform and developed firmware in C and x86 assembly. Additionally, Hector has teaching experience at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and has held various engineering roles at IBM, working on AS/400 OS/400 where key responsibilities included kernel code development and maintenance related to the SNA network protocol. Hector holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universidad de Guadalajara.
