Heidi Guntert

Heidi Guntert serves as the Vice President for Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS), actively involved in establishing a chapter and organizing events. Currently the Fundraising Chair for the UF Infosec Team (UFSIT), Heidi engages with companies for sponsorships and coordinates fundraising initiatives. A Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft in summer 2024, Heidi also holds the position of Lead Webmaster for the Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering organization, focusing on web development and user experience. As the Founder and Manager of FandomKraftStudio, a successful Etsy store, Heidi demonstrated entrepreneurial skills by distributing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include Web Developer at Fire Neural Network, Blue Team Network Defender during the DoE Cyberforce 2022, and various technical positions within organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers and the Museum of Discovery and Science. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at the University of Florida, Heidi's background includes leadership in competitive science events and a strong commitment to STEM outreach.
