Katrin Geyer is an experienced professional in the fields of human rights, disarmament, and environmental advocacy. Currently serving as Environment Advisor and Disarmament Programme Associate at the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) since January 2017, Katrin has contributed to various initiatives, including drafting submissions for the Universal Periodic Review of Germany and providing capacity-building to local partners. Previous roles include Human Rights Programme Consultant and Assistant at WILPF, where Katrin engaged in advocacy activities and developed training materials. Earlier work experience includes positions at the International Women's Initiative, International Refugee Trust, the Embassy of Costa Rica, and Casa Cultural Tejiendo Sororidades. Katrin holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from UCL and a Bachelor’s Degree in Honors Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Maastricht.
