Aniqa A. Sandhu

Aniqa Sandhu currently works as the Managing Director for Group Digital Financial Services at Veon in London. She is responsible for investments to build the ecosystem for DFS accelerating financial inclusion. She has been associated with the telecom, fintech & technology industry for the last 15+ years. She successfully spearheaded the largest Mobile Financial Services deployment in Pakistan, JazzCash, with more than 15 million wallets and revenue USD 80 million in a short span of 4 years. Aniqa pioneered the first of its kind initiatives in Pakistan such as JazzCash, Mobilink Microfinance Bank, National Incubation Center, Jazz xlr8, Veon and multiple core business platforms. She has been a part of various international organizations, member of the Digital Economy & Society at WEF, member of the Mobile Money Leadership Group at the GSMA and actively pursuing financial inclusion for the unbanked and underserved segments of the society. Under her leadership JazzCash was recognized as the leading financial inclusion brand for women in emerging markets.
