Dan Tall

Dan Tall is an experienced accounting professional with a robust background in financial analysis and team leadership within the energy sector. Since August 2015, Dan has served as Team Lead of Analysis at Vermilion Energy, overseeing a team of four accountants and developing forecasting templates with Power BI for budgeting purposes. Prior roles include Senior Operations Analyst, where Dan utilized Cognos TM1 for comprehensive financial analysis, and JV Non Op/Land Accountant, handling equalizations and expense allocation. Before joining Vermilion Energy, Dan worked at Penn West Exploration for over a decade, supervising joint venture accounting and treasury operations. Dan's career began with an accounting co-op at Canadian Pacific Railway. Dan holds a CPA designation and a Bachelor of Management in Accounting from the University of Lethbridge.
