Aleece Nanfito

Aleece Nanfito is currently serving as a Principal Geologist in Structure & Tectonics at Woodside Energy since June 2022. Prior to this role, Aleece held the same title at BHP from January 2012 to June 2022, contributing to the Global Endowment Team and undertaking various exploration roles in regions including the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, and Southeast Asia. Aleece's earlier experience includes positions as an Environmental Monitoring Technician at Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc., and as Science Staff on E/V Nautilus with the Ocean Exploration Trust. Aleece also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Syracuse University and as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where GIS database development was a key focus. Aleece holds a Master of Science in Earth Sciences from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
