Arash Sarikhani

Arash Sarikhani, PhD, currently serves as a Principal Cloud and DevOps Engineer | Consultant at the Australian Taxation Office since March 2023. Previously, Arash held the position of Senior Azure DevOps Engineer at Microsoft from June 2021 to March 2023 and worked as a Senior Consultant and Cloud Engineer at National Australia Bank from October 2018 to June 2021. Early career roles include a DevOps - Python and Nodejs Developer at Woolworths Group, an AWS DevOps Engineer - Django Developer at CloudSelect Australia Pty Ltd, and a Full Stack Developer at DigitalMaas. Arash began their professional journey as a Software Engineer at xapiapps following the completion of a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Adelaide (2011-2014), where research focused on an adaptive provenance collection architecture in science workflow systems. Arash also has teaching experience as a Lecturer at Azad University and payameh-e-nour University from 2009 to 2011, along with academic qualifications including a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
