Dirk Horjus Msc

Dirk Horjus MSc is a versatile professional with extensive experience in game design, project management, and engineering. As the Owner and Game Designer at 418art / Quirky Kraken Games since September 2013, Dirk focuses on innovative game concepts, including board and card games. Concurrently, Dirk has served as Project Leader for Real Estate Management at WoonFriesland since May 2001, overseeing large-scale quality improvement projects for rental properties. Previous roles include Co-Initiator and Developer at 8D Games, where Dirk worked on Serious Games and Entertainment Games from January 2013 to December 2016, as well as positions in engineering and project management at Ingenieursbureau Het Noorden, Woningbouwvereniging Opsterland, and Van Wijnen Gorredijk. Dirk holds a Master’s degree in International Engineering Management from the University of Glasgow and has completed a Masterclass in Supervision and Governance at NCOI University of Applied Sciences, along with various engineering qualifications.
