Melissa Cate

Melissa Cate, CAMS CFCS, currently serves as Deputy Compliance Officer at Woori Bank, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of AML, OFAC, and KYC analysts, acting as backup to the Chief Compliance Officer, and enhancing compliance policies. Prior experience includes roles such as VP of Transaction Monitoring and Investigations at BNP Paribas, where Melissa developed BSA/AML programs and managed a team of investigators, and VP/Sr. Compliance Officer at China Construction Bank, focusing on OFAC and AML transactions. Earlier in Melissa's career, managerial duties were carried out at Amalgamated Bank, supervising the Financial Investigation Unit and overseeing AML analysts. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Photography from Arizona State University.
