Meira Shuman

Meira Shuman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product design and mental health counseling. Currently serving as Principal Product Designer at WorkHound since October 2024, Meira is responsible for overseeing the design vision and strategy for various product initiatives. As a Senior Group Crit Facilitator at Designlab since April 2021, Meira mentors students in UX design. Previously, Meira held the role of Senior Product Designer at SonderMind, focusing on redesigning mental healthcare until being laid off in January 2024 and re-hired in June 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a UX Designer at Viget, Director of Client Engagement at Dish T'Pass Catering Co & Cooking School, and various mental health roles, including Outpatient Therapist at Legacy Freedom Treatment Centers. Meira holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida.
