Danny Hermes

Danny Hermes is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in technology and education. Currently employed at WorkWhile as a Software Engineer since November 2024, Danny previously held multiple roles at Hardfin as an Advisor and Co-founder & CTO, where core architecture and automation solutions were developed. Danny's extensive experience includes a position as Staff Software Engineer at Blend, where significant contributions were made to critical infrastructure and software migration projects. Additional roles span reputable organizations like Google, where development and tooling for cloud APIs were led, and UC Berkeley, where teaching and mentoring in mathematics were conducted while pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics. Danny holds a BS in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan and completed a PhD at the University of California, Berkeley.
