Dr. Rashid al-Anezi

Dr. Rashid Al-Anezi currently serves as the Vice President for Research and a Professor at Kuwait University, positions held since January 1990. Additionally, Dr. Al-Anezi is the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for the Olympic Council of Asia and a Member of the Ethics Panel for FINA, both roles initiated in 2017. An Arbitrator for the Tribunal Arbitral du sport since January 2017, Dr. Al-Anezi has also been a Partner at the International Legal Group since 2010, where involvement spans legal practice and academia as a Professor of International Law. Previously, Dr. Al-Anezi owned a law firm from 1998 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Law from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Laws from Tulane University.
