Tarek H. Selim

Tarek H. Selim serves as a Global Expert on Markets, Economy and Business Strategy at the World Economic Forum and holds positions as an Economic Council member and Expert Opinion contributor on Innovation Projects. Selim is a Lifetime Research Fellow and Research Fellow at the Economic Research Forum. In academia, Tarek H. Selim is a Professor of Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics at The American University in Cairo, previously serving as an Associate Professor in the same department. Additionally, Tarek H. Selim has acted as a Visiting Professor of Economics and Business at Al Akhawayn University and is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Egyptian Center for Global Governance and Development. Educational qualifications include participation in the Management Development Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
