Anita Hirsch

Anita Hirsch serves as the Deputy Regional Director for Asia Pacific at the World Food Programme since July 2014, following a diverse career in audit and public management. Previously, Anita held the position of Director of Internal Audit at UNDP from August 2008 to June 2014, and served as Chief of the Special Assignments Section and Internal Auditor at the United Nations from July 2004 to July 2008. Earlier roles include Deputy Director of External Audit at the Cour des comptes from 2001 to 2004 and Consultant for Government Services at Arthur Andersen until 2002. Anita's educational background includes degrees from Sciences Po Lyon, Université Jean Moulin, and Georgetown University, emphasizing public management and law.
