Stefan Patroi

Stefan Patroi is an experienced security professional with a robust background in security operations, policy development, and crisis management. Currently serving as a Security Operations Officer at the World Food Programme since May 2019, Stefan actively contributes to global and regional security strategy and advises senior management on security developments affecting WFP activities. Previous roles include Head of Security Unit in Burundi, where actions focused on implementing UN security standards and crisis preparedness, Technical Monitoring Team Leader for the OSCE in Ukraine, and Project Management Officer for the Romanian Police overseeing security sector reforms. Stefan holds a Master's degree in Criminal Sciences from the University of Bucharest and an academic degree in Law from the Police Academy.
