David Gottfried

David Gottfried is a prominent leader in the green building and sustainability sector, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Planet, where efforts focus on commercializing carbon-negative concrete to combat climate change. As the Founder and CEO of the U.S. Green Building Council, David initiated the world's leading green building nonprofit and authored the foundational white paper for the LEED Green Building Rating System. Additionally, David founded the World Green Building Council, establishing a global alliance of over 70 country councils. With previous roles as CEO for Reset360 and Regenerative Network, David has significantly influenced business growth and green performance in the industry.
