Andrea Poveda

Andrea Poveda is a dedicated professional with a strong background in environmental and social impact management. Currently serving as the Manager for Environmental and Social Impact and the WSL PURE Grant Program at the World Surf League since July 2023, Andrea previously held various roles at the Union of Concerned Scientists from November 2018 to July 2023, focusing on donor engagement and event management. Andrea's experience includes strategic engagement at Community Care Cooperative, development management at Imagina Children's Foundation, outreach coordination at Boston Network for International Development, and innovation coordination at WaterAid. Additionally, Andrea contributed to sustainability initiatives at PepsiCo. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainable Development and International Affairs from Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies.
