Françoise Guei

Françoise Guei is an experienced professional in trade policy and development, currently serving as a Grant Officer and Training Officer at the World Trade Organization since August 2022. With a career spanning over a decade, Françoise has been a Trade Policy and Development Advisor at G.Trade-Dev Consulting since January 2015, providing trade-related assistance to developing countries and managing projects, predominantly funded by GIZ. Ongoing projects include advising the ECOWAS Commission on its Trade Common Policy and regional strategy for trade and transport facilitation. Françoise is also a visiting lecturer at Sciences Po Rennes and Paris-Dauphine, teaching courses on Europe and Africa relations and legal aspects of global governance. Previous roles include expert in multilateral trade issues at the ACP Secretariat and various positions at the World Trade Organization, contributing to training and negotiations related to trade policies. Academic qualifications include an Advanced Master's Degree in Law of International, Community, and Economic Relations from Université Paris Nanterre and a Master’s Degree in International and European Law from University College Dublin.
