Skylar Swan has extensive experience in conservation and public policy, currently serving on the Freshwater Conservation Team at World Wildlife Fund since May 2024. Prior to this role, Skylar was part of the Energy and Environment Program at The Aspen Institute from 2023 to March 2024. Skylar's earlier career included positions in the Office of the CEO at the Ludwig Institute for Shared Economic Prosperity, SpringHarbor Financial Group LLC, and Canapi Ventures between 2021 and 2023, as well as a role in the U.S. House of Representatives with Representative Mike Levin in 2021. Academic involvement at the University of California, Berkeley included multiple roles such as Advisor on the Dean of Social Welfare's Student Advisory Board and Community Health Chair for the Undergraduate Public Health Coalition, with a focus on research and athletics as a member of the women's rowing team. Skylar's education culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare with a minor in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
