Meighan Scarpino

Meighan Scarpino is a dedicated professional with a strong focus on leadership and development within the sports and fitness industry. Currently participating in the Emerging Leaders program at Ohio University since May 2023, Meighan is enhancing professional skills through networking and industry insights. As President of Alpha Kappa Psi since September 2021, Meighan leads chapter meetings and fosters relationships with national organizations while prioritizing members' professional growth. With experience as a Lifeguard at Ohio University and previously at Pleasant Hill Swim Club Inc., Meighan also contributes to leadership forums aimed at improving campus recreation. Additional roles include serving as an Associate at Sigma Alpha Sigma Mu, where Meighan engages in networking and professional development. Meighan’s internship with adidas as a U.S. Open Consultancy Intern involved creating a marketing concept for the upcoming tournament. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport, Business & Law from the University of Bayreuth.
