Qiang Liu

Qiang Liu is a Software Engineer currently working at Woven by Toyota since July 2024. Previously, Qiang served as a Technical Lead at Hanson Applied Sciences from February 2019 to July 2024, where responsibilities included leading a market-making development team to enhance throughput and reduce latency while collaborating with quants, traders, and other development teams. Prior to that, Qiang worked as a Software Engineer at Smarkets and Oddschecker, focusing on building and maintaining a sports trading platform and developing various feed ingesters and backend services. Qiang holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nanomaterials from Centrale Lyon, a Master of Engineering in Solid Mechanics from Zhejiang University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University.
