Jenise Fernandez

Jenise Fernandez is an experienced anchor and reporter currently working at WPLG since November 2014. Prior to this role, Jenise served as a lead nightside reporter at WEAR ABC3 from November 2012 to November 2014, where responsibilities included independent reporting, content creation for social media, and live coverage of various news stories. Earlier experience includes a reporter position at KATC-TV 3 from December 2010 to November 2012, focusing on shooting, writing, and producing news stories, as well as guest co-hosting on the Travel Channel in 2009. Jenise began the career as a writer at WSVN CHANNEL 7 in late 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida International University, obtained in 2010.
