Derek Doran

Derek Doran currently serves as the Director of Research at Tenet3® since May 2019, while also holding positions as an Adjunct Professor and Associate Professor at Wright State University since July 2014. Doran's notable experience includes a tenure as a Fulbright Scholar in Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure at Reykjavik University from December 2019 to April 2020. Previous roles encompass various research and teaching positions at the University of Connecticut between 2007 and 2014, including Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, as well as being an Interim Researcher at ABB focusing on perception mining in social media. Other significant experiences include an internship at Bell Laboratories, involvement in a fellowship at National Taiwan University, and prior positions at Eastern Connecticut State University, Hamilton Sundstrand, and St. Paul Travelers. Doran earned a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2014 after completing a BS in the same field in 2007.
